Meet the Five Elements
In traditional Chinese thought, everything is made of five moving energies. Each governs a part of the body and a thread of the mind — and each has foods and seasons that keep it in flow.
The five elements are not rigid labels but a way to notice balance. Too much Fire and you burn out; too little Wood and plans stall. The goal of traditional self-care is simply to keep all five in gentle motion — through food, season, rest and attention.
